About
Data Scientist & Developer
Welcome to my personal website! I'm Sofia, a passionate data scientist focused on human rights and creating technology that aligns with these principles.
In my academic and professional journey, I have worked on various projects at the intersection of data science and human rights. Notably, I developed the coding version of the workshop <AI & Equality >: A Human Rights Toolbox during my thesis and professional work with Women at the Table. This methodology translates human rights principles into actionable steps for the data science pipeline and has been presented to diverse audiences worldwide. Currently, I am actively involved with the NGO PersonalData.IO, working towards reclaiming personal data from tech companies, advocating for individuals' rights over their personal information.
With an academic background in Data and Computer Science, I have acquired a solid foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization and software development.
Outside of work, you can find me exploring the outdoors and the swiss mountains, in activities like hiking and climbing.
Feel free to connect with me through my contact information or social media links. Thank you for visiting my website!
